The nose is of redcurrants, sweet red apples and peach with suggestions of pastry and lemon shortbread. The palate is very fruit forward, thanks to the fruits of the ripe 2020 vintage. But it’s perfectly judged, bringing forward a creamy generosity to balance the taut red berry and crisp apple flavours.

It is delicious to drink now and will become increasingly expressive with age. Should you choose to keep your wine store on its side in a cool, dry, dark place where the temperature is reasonably constant.
