By submitting your personal data in placing an order online you agree that we hold this for ‘legitimate interest’ to use that information as set out in this policy.  The order data will include your name and address, phone number and email address for the purposes of delivering wine to you.   The legal basis for this is the performance of a contract between you and us.  We may process your date of birth for the purposes of confirming you are 18 or over and therefore legally able to purchase alcohol.  The legal basis for this processing is compliance with legal obligations, namely the Licensing Act 2003. We may process financial information you share with us.  The financial data may include encrypted card details, name and address, email and telephone number.  The legal basis for this processing is the performance of a contract between you and us.  Financial transactions relating to our website and wine shop are handled by our card payment service providers and PayPal. We will share transaction data with our payment services providers only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing your payments, refunding such payments and dealing with queries relating to such payments and refunds. We will share your address, email and telephone number with the courier service used in order to facilitate delivery of the goods purchased. The legal basis for this is the performance of a contract between you and us. By submitting your email address and signing up to our newsletter the lawful basis for processing is ‘Consent’ gained through opt in at the point of sign up.
